ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ’ਚ ਦਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਦਿਨ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ’ਚ ਸਹਿਮ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਚਾਲੀ ਫੁੱਟੀ ਗਲੀ ’ਚ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਚਾਰ ਨਕਾਬਪੋਸ ਚੌਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਦਖਾ ਕੇ ਘਰ ‘ਚੋਂ ਨਗਦੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਮਾਨ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਘਟਨਾ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹਤ ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਜਿੰਦਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਦੀ 40 ਫੁੱਟੀ ਗਲੀ ’ਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬੂਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਰੂਮ ਹੈ।
ਲੰਘੀਂ ਰਾਤ ਕਰੀਬ 4:00ਕੁ ਵਜੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ’ਚ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਉੱਪਰੋ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਝ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਚੋਰ ਆਏ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੱਤੇ ਪਏ ’ਤੇ ਸਿਰ ’ਤੇ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਤਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦੇਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਚੋਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਲਮਾਰੀ ’ਚੋਂ 50 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਨਗਦੀ, ਦੋ ਆਈ ਫੋਨ ਤੇ ਪੂਜਾ ਰੂਮ ’ਚੋਂ ਨਗਦੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਫ਼ਰਾਰ ਹੋਏ। ਪੀੜ੍ਹਤ ਵਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਿਟੀ 1 ਦੇ ਐਸਐਚਓ ਬਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਲੋਂ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ਼ ਚੈੱਕ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਚੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੀੜ੍ਹਤ ਚੋਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਚੋਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਚਾਰ ਦੱਸੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
