ਕਰੀਬ 40 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਛੱਪੜ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ, ਪਾਰਕ, ਆਂਗਣਵਾੜੀ ਕਮਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ਾਨ ਘਾਟ ਦੀ ਚਾਰਦੀਵਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਜਾਰੀ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਬਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤਹੱਈਏ ਤਹਿਤ ਧੂਰੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਲੜੀ ਤਹਿਤ ਧੂਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੀਟਾਂਵਾਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੱਖਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰੀਬ 2.5 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਨਾਲ ਕਈ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਇੱਕੋ ਸਮੇਂ ਜੰਗੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਿੰਡ ਜੱਖਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਬਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਧੂਰੀ–ਛੀਟਾਂਵਾਲਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਸੜਕ ਤੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੱਖਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਰੀਬ 3.80 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ 10 ਫੁੱਟ ਚੌੜੀ ਸੜਕ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ 18 ਫੁੱਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਫਿਰਨੀਆਂ (ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਰਿੰਗ ਸੜਕਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਵੀ 10 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੋਂ 18 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੱਕ ਚੌੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਬਣ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਜ ਮੰਡੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ 2.13 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਚੌੜੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੀਮਸਾ ਤੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਭਲਵਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਸੀ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ, ਵਪਾਰਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਲਾਭ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਸਰਪੰਚ ਬਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੱਖਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੱਪੜ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ, ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਪਾਰਕ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ, ਆਂਗਣਵਾੜੀ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਕਮਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ਾਨ ਘਾਟ ਦੀ ਚਾਰਦੀਵਾਰੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰੀਬ 40 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੱਖਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਇਹ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਜਿਊਂਦੀ ਜਾਗਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹਨ।
